It’s time again for the Conwy Walking Week! This year is extra special to the team as it’s their 10th year walking! So, pack your rucksacks, get walking and never look back.
The Conwy Walking Week 2013 is set in stunning Wales this year and everyone is welcome!
If you’re stuck for weekend away ideas, then this event is perfect for staying active this weekend. This year offers the traditional walks such as a trip past the Graig Lwyd Stone Age axe factory, but this year only there is a twist.
If you’re an enthusiastic individual who will try anything thrown at them, then this is just the place for you. With this year’s new experiences, including a wild swim and night walk, it is shaping up to be the Conwy Walking Week’s best year yet; it is a can’t-miss opportunity.
For a whole week you’ll be exploring foreign places with great local leaders explaining the history behind such fascinating stops along the way.
Inclusive of this year’s event will be a family friendly trip around Llyn Crafnant – lake lying between an unbelievably beautiful valley and an audio trail full of information for those who love nature, history and wildlife.
Also included in the week away walking is the Hiraethog trail challenge which involves walking for a few days, admiring some of nature’s best sights.
For those who feel up to the challenge, why not join us this year from the 3rd to the 10th of July for a walk you’ll never forget.
