Barbel fish are making a splash at the Weir Meadow, with plenty of other fish also in full flow.
Barbel is continuing to be caught in large numbers at the Weir Meadow Holiday Park, Evesham. There are plenty of fish in the River, so it’s no wonder fishermen are heading down to the bank to get their catch. Barbel fish are the current talk of the town with many fishermen catching nets full of them.
The Barbel is not the only fish attracting many fishermen to these parts with a whole host of large individual fish swooping to the surface. The bank is predominantly known for its superb Barbel fishing but many others are in these waters due to a weir splitting the river right in the middle of Weir Meadow. This makes the location a great catch.
